Funeral of Major Allan Cameron

The World Curling Federation extends its deepest sympathies to the family of Major Allan Cameron whose funeral will be held on Friday 23 December on the Black Isle in Scotland. Major Cameron helped establish the International Curling Federation (precursor to the WCF) and was its President from 1966-1969. Major Cameron died on 4 December 2011. He was 94.

World Curling Federation World Rankings December 2011

Following the conclusion of the Le Gruyère European Curling Championships 2011 in Moscow, Russia this weekend, the World Curling Federation has released its latest world rankings. While there is little change to the position of the top curling nations in the world rankings at this stage of the season, the points gap between them continues to narrow.

These two teams had produced two tight encounters earlier in the week and this time round it was Norway who had the better start.
