The World Curling Federation (WCF) is delighted to announce the winners of the second phase of the WCF Sports Media Trainee Programme for the 2014-15 curling season. The winning candidates will join the WCF Media & Communications Team at upcoming World Curling Championship events over the next few months.

The USA will take on Brazil in the Americas Challenge which begins on Friday at USA Curling's National Training Centre in Blaine, Minnesota. Brazil, a World Curling Federation member since 1998, will challenge the USA for the second Americas zone berth at the upcoming Ford World Men's Curling Championship 2015 which is taking place in Halifax, Canada.

The schedule of play for the Ford World Men’s Curling Championship 2015 has been released by the World Curling Federation. Twelve of the top men’s curling teams in the world will gather from 28 March to 5 April to compete in the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Canada.

The schedule of play for the ZEN-NOH World Women’s Curling Championship 2015 has been released by the World Curling Federation.

Late registration is available for curling teams wishing to take part in the Winter World Master Games 2015 which will be held in Quebec City, Canada between 31 January to 8 February. More than 3,000 athletes are expected to take part in the event which see a curling competition for the first time. The curling competition will take place at the Jacques Cartier Curling Club www.

Russia men and England women have qualified for the World Junior Curling Championships 2015 after winning the European Junior Curling Challenge 2015. Russia men continued their great form during the last day of competition as they won both their semi-final against Turkey 10-3 and then their final against Spain 4-3.
