Korea and Norway qualified for the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2016 after winning their semi-final games on Thursday morning at the World Wheelchair Championship qualification event at the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Finland.

The Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2015 (PACC), making their debut in Kazkahstan this year, are now well underway, with the five women’s teams and eight men’s teams in the midst of round-robin play, all staking their claim to qualify for the 2015/16 World Curling Championships.

A record fifteen teams will take part in the World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship 2015 which will get underway at the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland, this Saturday (7 November). The teams will compete for the two remaining spots at the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2016 next February in Lucerne, Switzerland.

More history will be made when the World Curling Federation (WCF) stages the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2015 (PACC) in Almaty, Kazakhstan – the first WCF Championship to be hosted in that country. The PACC has been held annually since 1991 and the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace in Kazakhstan's largest city will be the venue this year.

It has been confirmed today that the Chinese Curling Association will host its first World Women’s Curling Championship, in the Chinese capital Beijing, in 2017. The event will be played between 18 and 26 March (2017), with the exact venue still to be confirmed.

France and Slovakia women and Slovenia and Slovakia men have qualified for Le Gruyère European Curling Championships 2015 B-Division, which will take place in Esbjerg, Denmark next month. All teams qualified today (17 October) at the conclusion of the European Curling Championships C-Division in Champéry, Switzerland.

The World Curling Federation (WCF) and Curling Canada have confirmed today that The World Mixed Doubles and Senior Curling Championships 2017 will be held in Lethbridge, Canada, between Saturday 22 and 29 April 2017. It will be the second time Curling Canada has hosted the combined World Mixed Doubles and World Seniors events.
